Western High School Parents,

As we have said time and time again, Western High is a place that students want to attend. This year we have welcomed over 100 reassigned students and many families moved into our zone specifically to have their children attend our school. Because of this growth in enrollments, we must make some adjustments.

In order to meet the state's Class Size Reduction mandates, we will be completing between 150 and 200 schedule changes over the next few days. Though we don't like to disrupt student schedules, we must make every attempt possible to level academic core classes to a 25:1 student/teacher ratio.
