AP STATISTICS SUMMER ASSIGNMENT

The suggested summer homework assignment for AP Statistics is to read Malcolm Gladwell’s book Outliers and to review the following topics:

measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode)
whisker box plots
stem & leaf plots
dot plots
histograms
circle graphs

I plan to call all of the students in August to arrange for them to pick up the textbook before school so that they can read and outline the first chapter before the first day of class. Students should expect a phone call from me mid August.
