Homecoming week took place October 8th through the 12th and proved to be a fun experience for all involved. The theme of this year’s festivities was: Time Warp. Each class chose a decade to represent at the start of the week. Freshmen represented the 1970’s, sophomores represented the 1960s, juniors chose the 1980s and the seniors selected the 1950s. The week started off with spirit dress up days and door and hallway decorating contests.

Mr. Linhart won for the best door, followed by Ms. Boulger in 2nd place and Ms. Rotstein in third. The senior class had the best hallway, followed by the juniors. Thursday afternoon, a pep rally was held in the stadium and each class performed a dance that was representative of their decade. The juniors came in first place, followed by seniors; the sophomores won third and the freshmen finished last.

The football game against Flanagan High School was a great success; it represented our first win of the season. The stands were filled with fans rooting for our Wildcats. The Homecoming court was announced that evening and was as follows:
Freshmen- Gabriella Maenza and Anthony Camacho
Sophomores-Alicia Sosa and David Ech
Juniors- Alix Fiorino and Chris Desabota
Seniors-Ali Bruns, Kristin Delfino, Nicole Gandolfo, Megan Mandell, Mike Caira, Jon Cotugno, Kash Fallahzadeh, and Jono Finan

The week concluded as students danced the night away on Saturday, October 13th at Pier 66 in Fort Lauderdale. The room was decorated in themes representing all of the eras highlighted throughout the week by students. The 2007 Homecoming King and Queen were crowned that evening: Paige Futch and David Zappa took their throne and enjoyed the rest if their evening as the royal couple.
